The language department is staffed with dedicated teachers who provide students with a well-rounded and meaningful instructional approach to the foreign language studied. Cross curricular units offer students different experiences. In conjunction with the Art Department, students study French and Spanish masters. A wide range of instructional methods are employed to give students the opportunity to use the foreign language studied in a variety of situations. The development of all four language skills is a continuous one. Extra-curricular activities, such as language clubs, enhance the students' studies and are a natural extension of the program. Language students are active throughout the school and perform community services, for example, the Spanish Club, whose members collect used school supplies for needy children in Latin America. Finally, the language department is staffed with dedicated teachers who provide students with a well- rounded and meaningful instructional approach to the foreign language studied.
