Relatives of AFSA staff and board members may not enter. 7 - First place regional winners will receive $1,000 each. From these 7 regional winners 1-First place national winner will be chosen to receive $3,000, 1-Second place winner will be chosen to receive $2,000 and 1-Third place winner will be chosen to receive $1,000.
Open to all

Open to high school seniors nationwide who plan to further their education at a college/university or certified trade school. A 700-1,000 word essay in which a different theme is chosen for high school seniors. Contest details, essay requirements and the application process can be found at www.afsascholarship.org
